About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Makeup Trainer with a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical makeup artistry, as well as technical knowledge of makeup tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for training makeup artist member and beauty advisor, ensuring they are proficient in both the theory and practice of makeup application.  At the same time, the trainer must be able to create a wide range of looks, from natural to outrageous, and must be able to apply makeup quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, stays updated with the latest industry trends, and is confident in conducting hands-on training sessions. Strong English communication is an essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deliver product training programs and learning materials to Beauty Advisor (BA) and internal stakeholders to ensure that they are up to company standards
• Manage the full spectrum of training activities including field coaching of BA
• Adapt and translate training materials into key selling messages to fit local market and deliver training modules to BA
• Coach, develop, and motivate BA at POS to ensure product knowledge and selling methodologies are effectively carried out and enhanced at POS
• Develop training calendar according to marketing plan and collaborate with marketing team to support event/on-counter activity
• Plan and monitor training expenses according to budget and resources Optimization
• Assess training needs and formulate training materials to align with corporate training guidelines, ensure high service quality and enhance sales performance
• Organize and conduct training workshop or roadshow. Involve in brand events and promotions
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure the frontline talent development
• Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs based on the feedback from internal and external customers
• Review the staff performance; provide professional advice and sales techniques to font line staff; implement improvement plans and actions
• Stay up to date on the latest makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations to provide relevant and updated training.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a trainer, preferably in the beauty or retail industry
• Excellent makeup and artistry skills and knowledge of various makeup products and techniques
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in makeup artistry or beauty education are preferred.

Qualifications

• Good command of spoken and written English
• Experience in training and coaching makeup artists is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team and must have good time management skills
• Socially savvy and passionate about service, artistry and brand storytelling
